The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences concedeu o The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, de 2005, a Robert J. Aumann, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, e Thomas C. Schelling, University of Maryland, "for having enhanced our understanding of conflict and cooperation through game-theory analysis".
